BIGBANG is rumored to be preparing for a comeback with the whole group.

South Korean media recently reported that YG group BIGBANG is rumored to be making a comeback. The boy group's last release was in 2018. Since then, various members of the group have gotten into different controversies. 

The group originally had a strong Chinese fandom and reached their peak in China in 2015 with their Made V.I.P. Tour. Since then, the members' controversies have led to negative public opinion against them in China, with backlash being especially severe against former member Seungri and current member T.O.P. Seungri is alleged to have been involved in exploiting women and supplying prostitutes, gambling, and operating a nightclub with connections to drug dealing. T.O.P. received a marijuana conviction.
