He says it's very difficult for him to explain what the underground rap freestyle and rhyme concept was back in those days. He mentions that the concept was "like a game with no bottom line". What they spoke did not necessarily contain malice, whether this malice was seemingly directed at the opponent or other people. He says the biggest problem with this kind of game was that they'd bring up people who were completely unrelated or who they did not know. He then apologizes to the public and people he has offended as well as his fans. (What he said in the video: "While I'm having sex with Ju Jingyi, you can stay beside me and watch.")

Liu Yifei, nicknamed "fairy sister" in China, recently went viral on Weibo for her seemingly unchanging looks. The actress, whose career began in the early 2000s, appears to look pretty much the exact same at ages 17, 28, and 33.

The Douban score for Ancient Love Poetry, one of Tencent's S-tier dramas of the year, has been released. The drama, starring Zhou Dongyu and Xu Kai, opens up with a dismal 4.8. The drama has faced criticism from netizens in recent weeks; points of criticism include the two leads' acting, the CGI, and the dubbing of Zhou Dongyu's character.

Many netizens expressed their disappointment on Weibo with the red carpet looks and general appearances of some of China's male celebrities at 2021 Weibo Movie Night. At the Tencent Pictures, New Classics Media, and Yuewen Media Press Conference, it was announced that the second season of hit drama Joy of Life will begin filming in Q4 2021. The first season of Joy of Life, which starred Zhang Ruoyun, Li Qin, and Chen Daoming and aired in 2019, was well-received in China. It currently has a score of 8.0 on Douban.

South Korean media recently reported that YG group BIGBANG is rumored to be making a comeback. The boy group's last release was in 2018. Since then, various members of the group have gotten into different controversies.  The group originally had a strong Chinese fandom and reached their peak in China in 2015 with their Made V.I.P. Tour. Since then, the members' controversies have led to negative public opinion against them in China, with backlash being especially severe against former member Seungri and current member T.O.P. Seungri is alleged to have been involved in exploiting women and supplying prostitutes, gambling, and operating a nightclub with connections to drug dealing. T.O.P. received a marijuana conviction.

At the Yuewen Original IPs Gala, Hu Ge discusses why he hasn't filmed a xianxia or xuanhuan work in a decade. He said, "Ten years ago, I said that I wanted to transform my image. Ode to Joy 3, the third season of the popular drama, has announced its new cast and released an initial poster. This is a Daylight Entertainment production. The scriptwriter, Ah Nai, also wrote the script for another acclaimed Daylight drama called All is Well. The director, Jian Chuanhe, is also the director of All is Well. Hou Hongliang is the chief producer, who also produced Nirvana in Fire, The Story of Minglan, and Battle of Changsha. 

R1SE member Xia Zhiguang was recently spotted in June holding hands with actress Zhong Lili. Dating rumors surrounding the two had previously arisen in October 2020, and it was speculated that the two had met at the Supernovae Games. After evidence was revealed in October, Xia Zhiguang apologized to fans on Weibo and he also gave a 90-degree bow in-person to several fans. After the most recent dating evidence from this month, netizens noticed that on Xia Zhiguang's Weibo account's most recent post, many of his fans were urging him to focus more on his career and the professional aspects of his life rather than dating.
